Actually, we are! All you nay-sayers are right; a 20+ hour flight after a year of wedding planning does not sound ideal, but I hope after you spend some time viewing our first sunset in the Serengeti, watching the "hungry" hippo that sidled up to our truck, and "listening" to the brushes with death our wildlife tracker experienced while camping out in the bush....it will start to make sense.
To be fair, I plan on acknowledging the rough patches too, but I am confident that the pros for spending this time on safari will far outweigh the cons!
